Roy R. Danks, DO, FACOS is the Trauma Medical Director and Medical Director of Acute Care Surgery at Memorial Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, in Carbondale, Illinois. In addition to trauma surgery, he practices Emergency General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and has an elective general surgery practice.
He is a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve where he serves as both a general surgeon and flight surgeon. He is currently the Command Surgeon for the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
